Back yard projects
Lydia and Ethan collaborated on a project to put up a swing in our back yard. I bought the materials and helped a little with the design; the kids put it together and hung it.

Fifth Grade Track Meet
Some pictures from the Lexington 5th grade track meet this past Wed. Very enjoyable outing; 5th graders from across the town, boys and girls, lots of energy. Here is Lydia's 200m heat:
It lifts my heart to watch Lydia run-- she takes lovely long strides, and it's clear that she's enjoying herself (the photos don't really do justice). She placed first in her grade for girls 200m, second for long jump.
