I have been experimenting with a new photo-scanning app for my cell phone (you can find it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.photos.scanner&hl=en). The big problem with taking pictures of pictures is that it is hard to eliminate glare from the light source, but some clever person came up with a way to get around that (it essentially takes multiple cell phone photos of the same thing and stitches them together). Works a lot better than I would have thought...
