Turning the Tables

It's a little hard to make out in this photo, but as of mid-Febrary, Ethan is now officially taller than his mom-- we measured twice just to make sure:

I have been told that this event can significantly change the parent-child dynamic, but so far we haven't noticed too many differences with Ethan. Yet. :-)

I should add that as a last-ditch measure we told Ethan he had had to get his hair cut before we could shoot this photo. Being shorn seems to have cut back the differential a little, but it's still there...
